HTC Butterfly Specifications And Price In Pakistan

HTC Butterfly is quite an extravagant smart phone of the future. It is expected anytime soon as a global complement to HTC J selling like hot cakes in the Japanese markets. It is definitely going to be an amazing smart phone due to the combination of its amazing features and looks.
The most noticeably impressive feature of this cell phone is its design. It looks slim as well as large! The size of the touch screen is a full 5.0 inches. Really impressive! Moreover, having dimensions of 5.63 x 2.78 x 0.36 inches, imagine how great it will look in your hands; stylish and extremely impressive indeed!
The display is also nothing less than great. The resolution is 1080 x 1920 along with a pixel density of 441 ppi. This awesome resolution combines with the 16 M color display to provide the best display ever. Moreover, the touch screen is also one of the most amazing features of this wonderful smart phone. Both the size as well as the technology used for the touch screen contributes towards a great user experience because it is a 5.0 inches Super LCD 3 capacitive touch screen.
This cell phone has the Android Operating System version Jelly Bean (4.1). This operating system can be upgraded to the latest Jelly Bean version (4.2). Moreover, the processor of this smart phone is also quite impressive. With a Quad Core having 1.5 GHZ, the smart phone functions will be performed efficiently at a high speed.
HTC is also said to be changing its strategy, letting flagship devices like the Butterfly sell longer on the market. That is in stark contrast with what market leaders like Apple and Samsung are doing. Apple for instance is said to be actually speeding up its product cycle to introducing two products a year instead of just one. The HTC Butterfly will start arriving in larger quantities around the end of the month, according to HTC North Asia president Jack Tong. This cell phone is yet to be released in the market. It will most probably lie in the category of expensive phones due to its amazing quality and features.

HTC WINDOWS PHONE 8S Features & PRICE IN PAKISTAN

There was a time when the phones from HTC sold like hot cakes but, for the past few months it seems to be laying low and not coming up with a model that impress. Even its last flagship phone HTC One X was not able to get a good response from the market owing to Samsung SIII and upcoming iPhone 5. However, this time, HTC shook hands with Microsoft to come up with a fancy phone that sets new trend for its makers.
The moment you get your hands on HTC Windows Phone 8S, this phone gives the feel as if it was made for you. A shiny and smooth 4.0 inches S-LCD capacitive touch screen on the front, a matte finished for easy handling and a lustrous lower edge made in different color making it look different from rest of the smartphones around. Despite of having a lovely screen size this phone does not go well on graphics quality and is limited to 480 x 800 pixels. Protected with Corning Gorilla Glass for protection, the screen does get a bit smudgy and glaring but not that bad as any other screen would. The rounded edges of the phone make it look slimmer and smarter regardless of the fact that is its dimensions are 120.5 mm x 63 mm x 10.3 mm.
The camera on the back of the phone is 5MP with an autofocus lens and a single LED flash. The snapper on the front is a simple VGA one.
The HTC Windows Phone 8S has little of that to worry about. Not only is it the most affordable of WP8 smartphones, but it keeps a safe distance too from the Android heavyweights. We don't think that much pressure will be felt either from the iOS end. So anyone keen to try Microsoft's latest on a tight budget is seemingly already in the loop and the 8S has a chance of winning over some converts too.

  • Quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE support
  • Dual-band 3G with 42 Mbps HSDPA and 5.7 Mbps HSUPA support
  • 4" 16M-color S-LCD capacitive touchscreen of 480 x 800 pixel resolution
  • Scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 2 display
  • 5 megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash, 720p@30fps video recording
  • Windows Phone 8 OS
  • 1GHz dual-core Krait CPU, Adreno 305 GPU, Qualcomm S4 chipset, 512MB of RAM
  • Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, dual-band
  • GPS receiver with A-GPS and GLONASS support
  • 4GB of inbuilt storage, microSD card slot
  • Active noise cancellation with a dedicated mic
  • Built-in accelerometer and proximity sensor
  • Standard 3.5 mm audio jack
  • microUSB port
  • Bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP and EDR, file transfers
  • Impressively deep and coherent SNS integration throughout the interface
  • Xbox Live integration and Xbox management
  • Data Sense
  • HTC exclusive apps
  • Beats audio enhanc

    Main disadvantages

    • Non user-replaceable battery
    • App catalog falls short of Android and iOS
    • No front-facing camera
    • No FM radio
    • No system-wide file manager
    • No voice-guided navigation
It's a package that makes sense, never mind the hardware limitations. The lower screen resolution should be less strain on the GPU, while the microSD card slot makes up for the limited inbuilt storage. In theory, the HTC 8S should give the same solid smartphone experience as the high-end WP8 devices at a fraction of the price. Intriguing indeed. Let's see how the HTC Windows Phone 8S goes about it.At 120.5 x 63 x 10.3 mm, the HTC Windows Phone 8S is a pretty compact device. It's amazingly lightweight too without feeling fragile or cheap. Most importantly, the use of space here is a lot better compared to the 8X, which was just too big for the screen offered. The 10.3mm profile isn't bad for the class, and because the smartphone is actually way thinner at the edges, it feels a lot slimmer. Plus, HTC brought the weight down to just 113g, so this one is good for carrying in just about any pocket.
The HTC Windows Phone 8S borrows a lot of design cues from its more expensive sibling, but has a clearly younger target. The two tone body comes in a number of bright colors, which in our opinion would best suit teenage hands. The black and white version, which we got for this review, is a tad more serious, but still not quite fit for corporate scenarios.
The great news is that slipping down the ranks has cost the HTC Windows Phone 8S nothing in terms of build quality. The smartphone is crafted to the same high standard as its senior sibling. The plain-looking colored plastic bit under the screen is the most questionable element of the phone's design, which by the way may look its worse in white.
